Carol Concerts
Not religious but I always go to at least one. The 'Carols for Shoppers' concert at St James's in Piccadilly is just beautiful, very atmospheric and an annual treat for me. Anyone else go without any beliefs?

The church in the village I live in uses the Christmas carol services as a way of weeding out the parishioners.

The hoards of ' I only live here because i can commute into London' lot get to sit at the sides, in the drafts and behind pillars.

The local farmers, teachers and magistrates get to park their sedan chairs at the front and next to the molten-hot radiators.

Went to the Campion School Carol Concert at Brentwood Cathedral last night - my son is in the Chamber Choir and the Orchestra.

He's in yr 10 now so I've attended 4 of these so far.

These lads seem to get better and better - it's always such a very moving experience - the standard of singing and musicianship on display is so good I'd happily pay to see them perform.
